Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between Veloria Travels (“the Company”) and the client (“you”) for the provision of travel services. By booking with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Booking and Confirmation

  • Reservations: All bookings must be made through our official channels (email, website, or social media).
  • Advance Payment: An advance payment of 40% of the itinerary price is required to confirm the booking.
  • Final Payment: The balance payment must be made at the start of your tour.

3. Pricing

  • Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in exchange rates, government taxes, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Quoted prices include only the services mentioned in the itinerary. Additional services may incur extra charges.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Client-Initiated Cancellation:
    • Full refund of the advance payment will be provided for cancellations made 30 days before the travel date.
    • For cancellations within 30 days, refunds depend on the cancellation policies of hotels, vehicles, and activities.
  • Company-Initiated Cancellation:
    • In case of cancellation by Veloria Travels, a full refund will be provided, or alternative arrangements will be offered.

5. Amendments

  • Changes to confirmed bookings may incur additional charges.
  • All amendment requests must be made in writing and are subject to availability.

6. Liability

  • Veloria Travels acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers (hotels, transport, etc.).
  • The Company is not responsible for injuries, losses, or delays caused by third-party service providers.

7. Travel Documents

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and other necessary travel documents.
  • Veloria Travels will provide guidance but will not be held responsible for incomplete or invalid documentation.

8. Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory. Clients must provide proof of adequate travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other risks.

9. Force Majeure

Veloria Travels will not be liable for disruptions caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or transportation strikes.

10. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

  • Complaints must be raised immediately during the trip to allow for prompt resolution.
  • Unresolved complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the travel completion.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Sri Lankan courts.
